Our home offers visitors an array of activities and amenities such as bird watching, kayaking, or just grilling with family and friends. Cypress Sunrise is located in the peaceful Waterford Heights community in Pawleys Island with OUTSTANDING views of the creek and homes on the south end of Pawleys Island proper. We provide FREE kayaks, crab traps, nets and life jacket to all of our guests. Cypress Sunrise is also a pet friendly rental so you do not have to leave your furry family members behind! Under the House: Outdoor Shower with Hot & Cold water, Mesh Wi-fi System, Bluetooth Stereo and Refrigerator / Freezer.
Main Floor: New window glass in several windows on the creek side, Fireplace (propane) so you can enjoy a fire with the push of a button, 1/2 Bath Fully renovated and a new “ON DEMAND” propane hot water heater so nobody gets a cold shower!
Second Floor: Condensed owner storage allowing more room for guests storage during their vacation.
On the horizon for 2023: New carpet and flooring, improved landscaping, dock renovations, and more!

Start your day with an unparalleled view of the sunrise over the creek while having coffee on the back porch. Even winter months in Pawleys Island offer 70-degree days, perfect for kayaking or fishing or relaxing walks on the beach. The Pawleys Island area also boasts a wonderful array of amazing, locally-owned bars and restaurants to round out your day. Some of our favorites include the PIT (Pawleys Island Tavern), Rosie’s Pizzaria, Rustic Table, Bistro 217 and Frank’s & Frank’s Outback. After dinner, settle in to the living room by the propane fireplace to work on a puzzle or play a game (all in the game cabinet) with the family or stream a movie on the Roku TV.
Beach Fires
Yes, as our cartoon image implies, you can have a fire on the beach in Pawleys Island, SC. But, you need to stop by the Pawleys Island Town Hall and get a “PERMIT” to have a fire on the beach. (Doing this lets them know when and where the fire is setup and prevents unnecessary emergency responses.)
