4th of July Vacations
Booking the right 4th of July vacation is important. What makes the 4th of July in Pawleys Island so unique? Yes, hundreds of locals and visitors gather along the parade route dressed in red, white and blue to watch the parade. But you’ll find festive and fun parades in cities all across the United States. Yes, those hundreds of people also gather on the beach to wave to the jets as they fly over for Salute from the Shore but you’ll also find that all along the east coast!
So what makes Pawleys so special??
The laid back southern hospitality and sense of community, of course! Families and friends travel from all over to gather at Pawleys Island for the 4th of July and have continued to do so for generations! The 4th of July at Pawleys has become a beloved tradition for countless families.
For the first time, our own family is unable to travel to Pawleys for the 4th of July, which means that Cypress Sunrise is available for YOUR family this year! What’s our favorite part of July 4th at Cypress Sunrise? We love to walk or kayak across the creek with the kids to watch the parade every year (no hassle trying to find a parking space on our little island). We also love grilling under the house and gathering on the dock to watch the planes fly over. It’s absolutely the best dock location and a locals favorite spot to wave to the troops! We then spend the afternoon on one of the nearby sandbars, swimming and watching the kids play and chase the crabs.
Availability of Pawleys Island vacation rentals is always in short supply during the week of July 4th so be sure to reserve your desired location quickly. Don’t miss out on the best week of the summer!
